Job Title: Product Safety Engineer

Join Morson Talent in this exciting opportunity to work as a Product Safety Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our products and providing technical advice to our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the Safety Management System to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Produce and manage Project Safety Management Plans to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Lead Product Safety hazard and risk identification, management, and assessment activities to ensure the safety of our products.
  • Provide technical safety advice to the wider community and support the production of training material.
  • Deliver training to the Product Safety and Environmental domains and the wider BAE Systems community.
Requirements:
  • Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of design, manufacturing, assembly, commissioning, and testing submarines lifecycle phases.
  • MS Office proficient - Word, Excel, etc.
  • Ability to interpret technical data and produce clear, logical, and robust safety arguments.

Salary: £56 per hour umbrella / £54.30 per hour PAYE (Inside IR35)

Contract: 12 month contract
