About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at HMP Stocken, a category C men's prison located in Stretton, Rutland.

As a Senior Mental Health Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health care to patients, promoting health and wellbeing within the prisoner population.

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing comprehensive assessments, initiating supportive care plans, and working with individuals on a 1-2-1 basis.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, and national standards, as well as experience in multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working.

We offer a competitive salary up to £46,200 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including discounts on shopping and leisure activities, support for career development, and a 24/7 employee assistance helpline.
