IT Infrastructure Specialist

PRM Distribution Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team. As an Infrastructure Support Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the security, protection, and up-to-date status of our PRM Infrastructure in the face of known and emerging cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:- IT Infrastructure Security and Cyber Protection: Ensure the IT Infrastructure, its data, files, and applications are protected against known threats and attacks.
- Infrastructure Maintenance and Capacity Planning: Advise on proactive and preventative housekeeping of the IT Infrastructure, undertake capacity planning, and ensure backup, failover, and recovery systems are maintained and tested.
- Incident, Problem Management and Support: Provide 3rd level technical support relating to technical issues and maintenance involving Microsoft's core business applications, Data Centre, and virtual environments built on Citrix, Microsoft, and VMware.
- Working knowledge and experience in core business applications such as Windows Server, Exchange, VMware, Microsoft 365, Citrix, and SQL Server.
- A sound understanding of basic business structures and processes.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries.
- In-depth knowledge of hardware and software.
- A technical, logical thought process.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written skills.
