Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced healthcare assistant to join our primary care network team. The successful candidate will support their peers and team leader, working on their own initiative to ensure people with severe and enduring mental health take up annual health checks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support peers and team leader in delivering high-quality healthcare services
- Work on own initiative to ensure people with severe and enduring mental health take up annual health checks
- Refer anomalies to specialist services and work closely with mental health professionals
- Complete health screens for service users with severe mental illness and transfer records to GP database
- Complete all administrative duties for the clinic, including booking and sending appointments
Requirements:
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
