Senior Conveyancing Assistant Role

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Conveyancing Assistant to join our team at Forrest Recruitment. As a key member of our conveyancing department, you will be responsible for providing expert support to our management team and assisting with the exchange of contracts and legal completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing conveyancing support to the management team, including issuing papers, exchanges, and other associated paperwork in relation to house sales.
  • Assisting lead conveyancers with exchange of contracts and legal completion, ensuring seamless and efficient transaction processes.
  • Undertaking relevant property searches, such as local authority searches, drainage, and water searches, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conducting anti-money laundering checks to maintain the highest standards of integrity and transparency.
  • Completing all other tasks through to completion of sale, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Extensive knowledge of the property house sales market or conveyancing, with a strong understanding of administrative procedures and excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
