Job Description:

We are seeking experienced HGV Yard Shunters to join our team at Challenge-trg Group. As an HGV Yard Shunter, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving HGVs within our yard, ensuring timely delivery of goods to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate HGVs within the yard, following all safety protocols and procedures
  • Ensure accurate and efficient movement of HGVs, minimizing delays and downtime
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve smooth yard operations
  • Participate in regular safety training and adhere to all safety guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • 3 months of experience in HGV Shunting or a related field
  • Ability to work varied shift patterns, including nights
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical ability to perform the demands of the job
  • Valid HGV license and certification
