Job Summary

This is a highly visible role within the ESP Utilities Group Ltd, supporting the delivery of effective day-to-day operational IT and communications services across the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to ESPUG staff in the use of their computers, mobile devices, and installed software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day fault analysis and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues.
  • Install, configure, and license software to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Set up new hardware and network infrastructure to support business growth.
  • Implement network patching and maintenance to prevent security breaches.
  • Determine requirements for new users and complete the full new user setup, including user induction.
  • Close down leaver accounts and ensure a seamless transition.
  • Provide technical support to ESPUG staff, including logging and responding to IT support requests.
  • Raise issues with third-party service providers, such as managed firewall services, software developers, and cloud services.
  • Maintain departmental documentation and assist with keeping the SharePoint-based intranet up-to-date.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with a Microsoft domain environment.
  • Understanding and experience of Windows Active Directory, including adding users to groups and assigning permissions.
  • Experience supporting users with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365, including MS Teams.
  • Experience managing Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Experience supporting mobile devices on Intune MDM.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with Dynamics 365.
  • Experience working with ISO 27001 Information Security standard.
  • Microsoft PowerPlatform.
  • Powershell, SharePoint, Teams.
