Teaching Personnel Job Description

Job Title: Year 4 Teacher

Location: Tower Hamlets

Job Type: Temporary

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 4 teacher to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons that foster a positive classroom environment and promote student well-being and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement cross-curricular activities
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, keeping them informed of student progress and school events
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay current with educational trends

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum, particularly for Year 4
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
