**Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Head of Commercial Project Management to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing commercial projects from execution to completion, working closely with senior management and clients to ensure timely delivery and high-quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all stages of project life cycle, including planning, execution, and completion.
  • Provide timely status reports to stakeholders and manage relationships with clients and contractors.
  • Manage and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and design teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Manage costs, budgets, and conduct financial forecasting and modelling.
  • Establish and promote a safety culture among project teams, contractors, and site personnel.
  • Implement security protocols to safeguard staff, assets, and clients.
  • Develop Construction Phase Plans (CPP) and conduct Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) reviews.
  • Ensure contractors submit comprehensive and compliant RAMS.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports using Microsoft Project and Excel.
  • Identify building defects and complete reports for recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of residential and commercial buildings.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.

**Requirements:

  • Proven experience in commercial project management, preferably in the building refurbishment and maintenance sector.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and Excel.
  • Hold relevant certifications, such as NDEA/DEA, SMSTS, TWC, Fire Marshal, Asbestos First Aider, and MRICS/FRICS building surveyor.
