Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Design Engineer to join our team in the development of satellite communication products. The successful candidate will be responsible for the specification, design, and validation of these products, with a focus on high-reliability system design and digital signal processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop satellite communication products, including circuit design, schematic capture, and component selection
  • Direct in-house and 3rd party PCB layout design teams to ensure high-quality manufacturing
  • Develop and deliver prototype and product quality manufacturing work-packages
  • Support Hardware/Software/System integration, validation, and qualification
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a hardware product design role, with a focus on high-reliability system design
  • Experience in the development of satellite/payload equipment is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, digital signal processors, FPGA, and ASIC design
  • High-speed digital interfaces, DC/DC power supply design, and Verilog/VHDL programming
  • Knowledge of environmental, thermal, safety, and EMI/EMC standards
  • Practical use of scripting languages such as Tcl, Python, and Perl
