About the Role

Sphere Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to oversee the civil infrastructure on a major datacentre project in South Wales. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing site staff, sub-contractors, and operatives, and will be responsible for producing RAMS and project management plans, monitoring contract costs, and preparing programmes of works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage site staff, sub-contractors, and operatives to ensure the successful delivery of the project
  • Produce and maintain RAMS and project management plans to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Monitor contract costs against agreed budgets and take corrective action as necessary
  • Prepare and manage programmes of works to ensure timely completion of contracts
  • Manage design co-ordination and ensure the timely completion of contracts
  • Build and maintain good relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Supervise and mentor the site team to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver the project
Requirements
  • Significant experience in the civils sector working for a main contractor, specifically within groundworks and remediation
  • Proven track record in a PM or Senior PM capacity
  • SMSTS, Temp Work Coordinator, and CSCS qualifications
  • Knowledge of NEC contracts and ICE membership would be advantageous
  • Good commercial knowledge and understanding of the construction industry
