Position Summary
We are seeking a talented Digital Learning Developer to contribute to our Training division. This role focuses on the development and implementation of our innovative Learning Management System (LMS). The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders, including the Technical Training team and Human Resources, to design and produce engaging eLearning content.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop compelling training courses and educational materials.
- Apply instructional design methodologies to create effective learning objectives, user guides, and assessment strategies.
- Produce multimedia content, such as videos, interactive simulations, quizzes, and other eLearning tools.
- Utilize authoring software like Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate to generate high-quality content.
- Edit and produce training videos to enhance eLearning modules.
- Input and manage course content, learning resources, and assessments within the LMS.
- Organize course structures and oversee approval processes within the LMS for optimal learner navigation.
- Conduct testing of courses in the LMS to ensure functionality and accuracy.
- Assist in the daily management and coordination of projects, working closely with project leads and stakeholders.
- Facilitate change control processes and ensure project milestones are achieved within set timelines.
- Coordinate technical and user testing, documenting issues and ensuring resolution before sign-off.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree or certification in training, adult education, multimedia development, or related fields is advantageous.
- Experience in HTML and proficiency in audio and video editing software is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in instructional design for eLearning is essential.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems as a developer or administrator is desirable.
- Ability to craft clear instructional text, audio scripts, and video scripts, along with experience in video production.
- Proficiency in authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and graphic design software.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with a focus on project coordination.
