Job Title: Aerodynamicist

At NIO, we are committed to shaping a joyful lifestyle by offering high-performance smart electric vehicles and shaping a sustainable and brighter future together. As an Aerodynamicist, you will play a crucial role in developing current and future vehicle programs and simulation methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and improve CFD capabilities to enhance vehicle performance and user experience
  • Perform external and internal aeroacoustics CFD simulations and provide design recommendations throughout the design phase
  • Present CFD results and recommendations to program teams globally
  • Correlate CFD results with acoustic wind tunnel data on prototype and production vehicles
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain procedures for performing various analytical wind noise processes
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Aeroacoustics, CFD, Aerospace, or Aerodynamics
  • Experience in CFD within industry, with higher experience levels recognized
  • Hands-on experience with Simulia PowerFLOW and ANSA preferred
  • Ability to understand and/or write Python code beneficial
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
