The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to lead our culinary team at our Preston Leyland Hotel, part of the Signature Collection By Best Western. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional menus for our guests, working closely with our Head Chef to implement standard recipes and maintain food costs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef, overseeing food preparation and ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Lead and manage a high-volume kitchen team, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Implement standard recipes and maintain food costs, working closely with the Head Chef.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of food safety and health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to deliver exceptional culinary experiences, inspiring the team to deliver outstanding food, day after day.
