Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager/Accountant to join our client, a leading school playground company, on a 6-9 month fixed term contract. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Budgeting and departmental analysis
- Cash flow projection and analysis
- 12-month rolling forecasting KPI reporting
- Business performance reporting
- Presenting monthly and quarterly financial reports to various units and departments
- Implementing a Power BI and dashboard reporting system
- Ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are up to date
- Monthly P&L analysis
- Audit support
- Year-end accounts production and liaison with external accountants
- Ad hoc reporting
Requirements:
- ACCA/CIMA qualified (or part qualified with experience)
- Experience working within the engineering/manufacturing industry
- Experience using XERO software
- Strong interpersonal skills, meticulous planning skills, and a result-oriented mindset
- Current and up-to-date experience with management accounts and financial accounts
- Solid experience in SMEs across sectors and strong financial reporting experience
- Experience in budget management and able to plan and report on variance analysis
- Able to produce detailed financial reports and present to the board and communicate company needs to the wider business and stakeholders
