Job Summary

Protocol Education is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and students in a primary school environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist primary teachers in delivering lessons and providing support to students
  • Implement effective strategies for behaviour management and student engagement
  • Provide support in phonics, PECS, cued articulation, and British Sign Language
  • Utilize bar modelling techniques to aid in teaching mathematical concepts
Requirements
  • Level 3 Teaching and Learning in schools qualification
  • Minimum of Level 3 Teaching and Learning in schools qualification
  • Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of phonics and behaviour management techniques
  • Proficiency in PECS, cued articulation, and British Sign Language
  • Familiarity with bar modelling for teaching mathematical concepts
Working Conditions
