Accounts Payable Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Southampton. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing payment requests, liaising with suppliers, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payment requests to ensure timely and accurate payment
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve invoice and payment queries
  • Post payments and financial transactions in a timely manner
  • Reconcile supplier statements and credit control accounts
  • Manage aged ledger items and maintain accurate financial records
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and project work
  • Maintain filing systems and assist with internal billing queries
  • Review monthly transactions and maintain financial allocations between divisions
  • Update and maintain supplier contact and master data records
Requirements:
  • Full right-to-work in the UK
  • Prior experience in accounts payable within a UK finance function
  • Ability to understand and process financial data
