Accountant Role at Old Mill

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team at Old Mill. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a vital role in preparing and reviewing accounts and tax returns, ensuring compliance with all regulations and providing valuable insights to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and accounting principles.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on financial matters.
  • Work closely with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Relevant accounting qualifications, such as AAT Level 4.
  • Experience in a practice environment, preparing accounts and tax returns for a variety of clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
