Nuclear Quality Control Engineer

Job Overview
Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Quality Engineer to join our team at our EDF Sites. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing quality control requirements and ensuring that the specified quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote awareness of the Quality Management system and ensure its effective implementation.
- Review and update the site quality plan to ensure it aligns with the company's quality objectives.
- Develop and review Inspection and Test Plans, and monitor compliance to ensure that all quality standards are met.
- Produce and review Work Packs to ensure that all necessary information is included.
- Conduct Weld Inspection (if CSWIP qualified) to ensure that all welds meet the required standards.
- Review material certification to ensure that it meets the required codes, standards, and specifications.
- Monitor and coordinate Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to ensure that all testing is conducted in accordance with the company's quality procedures.
- Assist in resolving quality problems and provide effective solutions.
- Support the weld process controls, including weld card production, NDT requests, and feedback.
- Complete quality control tasks and ensure that all quality records are accurate and up-to-date.
Requirements
- Hold a minimum qualification of NVQ level 3 in an engineering-related field.
- Possess CSWIP/PCN certification in Welding Inspection (preferably).
