Environmental Planning Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of environmental plans and permits for various projects, from conceptual phase to design completion.
  • Review and modify production drawings to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company standards.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of environmental concepts, principles, and practices to drive sustainable design and planning.
  • Research and compile project-related data to support project managers in making informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to drive project success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure Burns & McDonnell remains at the forefront of environmental planning.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field from an accredited program.
  • 3+ years of experience in environmental planning, permitting, and sustainability.
  • Proven knowledge of environmental regulations, compliance, and sustainability principles.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
