Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Transformation Communications Specialist to join our team at Lorien. As a key member of our Supply Chain & Procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy to support our Digital Supply Chain Programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a communications strategy to engage stakeholders and promote the benefits of the Digital Supply Chain Programme.
- Create and disseminate compelling content to support the programme's goals, including press releases, social media posts, and stakeholder updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all programme communications.
- Design and deliver engaging stakeholder events to foster strong relationships and promote programme success.
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of communications efforts, using data and analytics to inform future strategies.
- Work closely with the Programme Leadership Team to ensure alignment and effective communication of programme goals and objectives.
- Manage third-party service providers to support communications efforts, as needed.
Requirements:
- Degree educated in a relevant business or subject.
- Extensive experience in planning and managing communications campaigns, with a track record of success in complex transformational projects.
- Excellent skills in programme communication content development, with the ability to create engaging and effective content for various audience groups.
- Strong knowledge of corporate communication channels and the ability to innovate to generate excitement and increase engagement.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to effectively target and tailor the message and medium to various audience groups.
- Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and the ability to deliver high-quality communications in compressed timelines.
- Proficient in using a variety of tools to develop plans and communications content (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Viva Engage, Teams, etc.).
Barriers to Success:
- Inability to adopt and deploy a range of influencing styles.
- Low resilience and inability to operate successfully in a fast-moving environment.
- Inability to establish mutual trust or display cultural sensitivity.
- Inability to work with third-party service providers to lead and collaborate on delivering communications.
- Inability to work as a team, sharing content, aligning inputs & outputs.
- Inability to meet milestones through insufficient stakeholder and risk management.
