We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team at Pertemps Burton Commercial.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating transportation routes for our drivers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answering and responding to all incoming calls in a timely manner.
  • Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Booking drivers onto an in-house system accordingly.
  • Planning transport routes for all drivers daily.
  • General admin duties as and when required within the office.
Requirements:
  • Previous transport planning experience is essential.
  • The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • A personable and confident personality.
  • The ability to work alone during periods of the day.
  • Must be available during the assigned period.

Please note that this is a temporary assignment throughout November, and the pay rate is £12.00 per hour.
