About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Protection Manager to join our team at QinetiQ. As a Data Protection Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our company complies with all relevant data protection laws and regulations. This includes managing our records of processing, conducting data protection impact assessments, and providing advice on data protection policy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of data protection, including records of processing, data protection impact assessments, and data subject access requests.
  • Provide advice on data protection policy and compliance to employees and management.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure data protection is integrated into all aspects of the business.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in data protection, including managing records of processing and conducting data protection impact assessments.
  • Strong knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, including the Data Protection Act 2018.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
