Abatec Recruitment is seeking to hire a skilled Civil Engineering Site Supervisor to contribute to a significant infrastructure project.


The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in civil engineering and relevant experience in managing substantial projects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the project adheres to the design specifications, while also prioritizing safety, timely completion, and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in site setting-out for large-scale civil engineering projects.
  • Utilize advanced surveying equipment to conduct site levelling and assessments.
  • Verify drawings and quantities, ensuring precise calculations.
  • Support the creation of 'as-built drawings.'
  • Adhere to site-specific health and safety regulations, promptly identifying and reporting any concerns.

Qualifications Required:

  • Proficiency with Leica Survey instruments (GPS, Total Station, Optical, and digital levels).
  • Valid CSCS certification and experience with robotic total stations.
  • Strong understanding of construction health and safety standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Experience in Groundworks, Earthworks, and Reinforced Concrete works.
  • A degree in civil engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • The successful candidate will need to undergo security clearance due to project requirements.

Compensation and Benefits:
* Competitive daily rate of £400 - £450 (PAYE/Umbrella)
