Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Your New Role

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will work with the Manufacturing Process Engineering Team to develop and improve existing manufacturing systems, processes, procedures, and equipment. Your responsibilities will include planning, coordinating, and implementing efficient and cost-effective production methods for major sub-components and final assembly of machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and improve manufacturing systems, processes, procedures, and equipment
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement efficient and cost-effective production methods
  • Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality assurance departments
  • Implement best practice standard work on the shop floor
  • Manage BOMs and material movement
  • Develop ergonomic processes based on Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Provide production support
  • Oversee new product introductions and production launches
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, and strong communication skills. You should have an organised approach to work, the ability to work under pressure and on your own initiative, and experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks. Good customer service and communication skills are essential, along with experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
