About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Technical Salesperson to join our team at De Lacy Executive Recruitment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting our bespoke silage inoculant solutions to dairy farmers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with dairy farmers, nutritionists, and distributors across the UK.
  • Advise on a tailored range of silage inoculants, offering technical support and guidance to meet customer needs.
  • Conduct on-farm visits and deliver product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of solutions.
  • Offer ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and best practice advice for silage management.
  • Monitor industry trends, market changes, and competitor activity to stay ahead in the market.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand our customer base across key dairy regions.
  • Represent the company at agricultural shows, industry events, and trade fairs to network and promote our products.
Your Profile
  • You hold a degree in a relevant agricultural field.
  • Ability to build relationships with and understand the needs of dairy farming customers.
  • A well-rounded technical knowledge of silage inoculation.
  • Readiness to travel nationally on a weekly basis.
  • Driven to deliver excellent standards of advice and achieve commercial objectives.
  • UK driving license is essential.
  • Ability to work autonomously and with strong organisational skills.
