About the Role:
Good Egg Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced GRP Assembly Operator to join their team. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for assembling and finishing a range of products, including showers, baths, and automotive components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and understand lay-up specifications and technical drawings
- Perform electrical assembly tasks and use hand tools, such as drills and grinders
- Identify laminating defects and maintain a high level of quality control
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures, and maintain accurate records of production and equipment issues
- Use core materials and generic bonding pastes, and operate patterns and jigs
- Perform basic housekeeping duties and use personal protective equipment correctly
Requirements:
- Experience in GRP laminating and associated processes, including trimming and polishing
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of quality processes and procedures
