We are seeking an experienced Family Senior Associate to join our top-ranked team in Cheltenham. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-value and complex matrimonial finance issues and private child law matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal advice to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Manage a broad case load with a high level of autonomy.
  • Draft complex documents with minimal supervision, utilizing relevant precedents.
  • Apply a commercial approach to research, evaluating relevance and accuracy in delivering advice.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to junior team members as needed.
  • Contribute to business development activities, supporting Partners in client marketing and networking.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legal and regulatory obligations, including SRA Standards and Regulations.

Requirements

  • England and Wales qualified lawyer (or equivalent) with a minimum of 6 years' PQE.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
  • Proven ability to exceed client expectations, anticipating needs and resolving problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of tasks.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Office.
