Semi Senior Accountant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic accountant to join our team as a Semi Senior Accountant in West Yorkshire.

Job Purpose
  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK regulations.
  • Support the senior team in the preparation of audits, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns and assessments for a range of organisational structures, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Assist with VAT returns, rental accounts, and bookkeeping, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance.
  • Manage workflow and ensure client work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner, liaising with clients and HMRC as necessary.
  • Support with general accountancy services and business advice, promoting customer service excellence and fostering strong relationships with clients.
  • Work closely with senior team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive business growth and success.

Requirements
  • An ACCA or ACA studier or ready to begin.
  • Good basic knowledge across accountancy services and some experience of working in UK practice.
  • A can-do attitude to problem-solving, with excellent communication and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage your own deadlines and workflow.
