Position: EMEA Operations Controller
We are seeking an EMEA Operations Controller to oversee the financial dimensions of our operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring financial integrity and operational excellence by working closely with various stakeholders to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and boost profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Oversight and Reporting:
    • Perform comprehensive financial assessments to evaluate operational performance and pinpoint improvement opportunities.
    • Generate detailed financial reports, variance analyses, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress.
    • Create and sustain financial models that aid in strategic decision-making.
  • Budgeting and Financial Forecasting:
    • Engage in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
    • Monitor actual performance against set targets and provide insightful variance analyses.
    • Advise on necessary adjustments to meet financial objectives.
  • Cost Control and Operational Efficiency:
    • Identify opportunities to optimize operational costs and enhance efficiency.
    • Implement and oversee cost-control initiatives while monitoring expenditures.
    • Evaluate cost-saving strategies and optimize resource distribution.
  • Inventory Control:
    • Formulate strategies for effective inventory management to minimize costs and maximize working capital.
    • Reduce excess stock and eliminate obsolete inventory.
    • Monitor KPIs to identify unusual trends and address issues proactively.
  • Collaborative Business Partnership:
    • Deliver financial insights to operational leaders and engage in strategic planning.
    • Work together on financial strategies that align with operational goals.
    • Lead a team of management accountants to ensure effective financial management.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Over 10 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial principles and operational processes.
  • Expertise in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders.
