Quality Engineer Required

Our client, a leading metal fabrication company, is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in the manufacturing processes and final products.

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement, implementing quality control systems, and ensuring compliance with both company standards and industry regulations. This is a full-time position, working hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm and Fridays 8am-1pm.

Package:

Quality Engineer Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor production processes and perform regular audits to identify and address quality issues.
  2. Ensure that manufacturing processes adhere to ISO and other relevant quality certifications.
  3. Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address non-conformances, customer complaints, and quality issues.
  4. Maintain accurate quality documentation.
  5. Evaluate and monitor the quality of incoming materials from suppliers.
  6. Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues and ensure material specifications are met.

Quality Engineer Requirements:

  • Strong background within engineering.
  • 4 years' experience in a quality based role.
  • Sound knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001:2015).
