Job Summary:

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Home Manager to lead our residential care service in Burton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of staff, ensuring the service meets OFSTED standards, and creating positive outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a residential care service that provides support to young people with emotional and behavioral difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviors.
  • Work closely with the Risk and HR teams to ensure the service is safe and effective.
  • Build and develop a high-performing staff team, including Deputies, Team Leaders, and Support Workers.
  • Ensure the service meets OFSTED and company standards through quality assurance and monitoring.
  • Manage referrals and admissions to the service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the service and achieve positive outcomes for children and young people.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in children and young people.
  • NVQ Level 5, or working towards.
  • Deputy or Registered Management experience.
  • Driving license.
