About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Bank Staff Member to join our team at Bright Horizons Saffron Walden Day Nursery and Preschool.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Nursery colleagues in delivering the EYFS curriculum, engaging children in educational play and activities, and ensuring their safety throughout the day.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment for children and staff.
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding.
  • Contribute to the development of children's skills and abilities, and support their learning journey.

Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children, such as a Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nanny, Childminder, or similar.
  • A passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • The ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
  • A sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children.
  • The ability to be flexible and adaptable.
