About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Domestic Loss Adjuster to join our team at Sedgwick. As a key member of our claims resolution team, you will be responsible for handling a portfolio of domestic losses, from initial assessment to finalisation of the claim. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and that claims are resolved efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations of domestic losses, gathering evidence and assessing the extent of damage.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of claims.
  • Develop and implement effective claims handling strategies to achieve optimal outcomes for all parties involved.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external specialists to ensure seamless claim resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to company standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and claim resolution.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of insurance policies, claims processes, and property damage assessment.
