Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor

Join our team at Indotronix Avani UK Ltd as an Aircraft Mechanical Supervisor, playing a key role in the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) organisation. This exciting opportunity involves contributing to key programmes, ensuring adherence to established processes, and maintaining high standards of health and safety within your team.
Key Responsibilities:- Leading aircraft maintenance under the client's MAA MRP Part 145 approval or the MOD customer's approval.
- Performing assembly, disassembly, modification, troubleshooting, and repairs of complex aircraft systems in accordance with authorised technical documents.
- Adapting to flexible work locations and times to meet customer deadlines.
- Providing mentorship and guidance to peers and trainees.
- Managing emerging risks and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to assign and sequence technical work for the team while managing workloads and maintaining high standards.
- Competency in understanding and interpreting technical documents, drawings, and publications.
- Familiarity with MAA Regulatory Articles (RA), MAA Regulatory Publication (MRP) Part 145, aviation Quality Assurance (QA), and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
- Recognised trade apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of general aircraft maintenance, including Human Factors, FOD control, tool control, and health & safety regulations.
- Experience in either commercial or defence sectors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
This role requires the ability to obtain supervisory authorisations for the relevant aircraft type and will involve oversight of team performance and mentoring Apprentices or Trainees. SC Clearance is vital for this role, and sponsorship cannot be offered.
