Job Title: EI Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled EI Technician to join our team at Ingevity. As an EI Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out E/I maintenance activities to achieve business requirements, including maintenance activities on high hazard chemical systems, safety-critical equipment, and working at height in a flammable atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate within Responsible Care policies to ensure regulatory compliance with site standards, procedures, and national regulations.
  • Carry out preventative, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to meet all business requirements.
  • Provide day-to-day technical support to the plant maintenance team for diagnosis and rectification of complex problems.
  • Represent the department in HAZOP functions, providing support and expertise when required.
  • Support all CAPEX activities on large-scale equipment from design, build, or commissioning.
  • Support, own, or control any continuous improvement activities or projects identified within the manufacturing teams.
Requirements:
  • Minimum ONC or equivalent in the Instrumentation engineering discipline.
  • COMPEX certification.
  • COMAH site experience.
