Early Years Educator - Level 3
The Aspire Training Team is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Early Years Educator - Level 3 at St John's Church Preschool Nursery.
About the Role:
We are looking for a punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to work with our team of experienced childcare professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Plan and implement engaging activities and experiences that promote children's learning and development
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a safe and healthy environment for children
- Support children's physical, emotional, and social development
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and parents to ensure seamless transitions and shared understanding of children's needs
Requirements:
- Level 2 Childcare Qualification or equivalent
- Enhanced CRB/DBS check
- Current Paediatric First Aid certification
- Knowledge and experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- GCSEs A*-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent
Working Hours:
- St John's Church Preschool Nursery operates a day nursery provision from 08:00-17:00, Monday to Friday, during term time only
- The successful candidate will be expected to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with varied shift patterns to be discussed
