Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically fit individual to join our team as an On-Call Firefighter. As a key member of our fire and rescue service, you will be responsible for responding to emergency situations and engaging with your community to promote fire safety and prevention.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to emergency calls and participate in firefighting and rescue operations
  • Conduct community fire safety visits and provide education on fire prevention and safety
  • Participate in training and development programs to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve service objectives
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent physical fitness, strong communication and teamwork skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to the community. You must also be able to reach the fire station quickly and safely after being alerted to an incident.
