Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 driver to join our team at PROMAN Recruitment. As a Class 2 driver, you will be responsible for delivering catering supplies to business properties in and around the Manchester area.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain the company vehicle in a roadworthy and clean condition, documenting checks and reporting any faults immediately.

* Assist in loading assembled orders onto the vehicle, ensuring payload limits are not exceeded and goods are safely loaded for transportation and delivery.

* Ensure duties are carried out within legal requirements, complying with the company's Operator Licence.

* Complete scheduled deliveries on time, in full, using relevant route planning tools.

* Deliver to customers as directed, assist with unloading, and report any problems with delivery sites.

* Ensure POD paperwork is correct and authorised.

* Present a professional image to customers, be pleasant and courteous at all times, and comply with company dress requirements.

* Report any accidents immediately.

Requirements:

* Valid Class 2 driver's licence

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Good communication and customer service skills

* Ability to lift and move heavy loads

* Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures
