About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Laboratory Customer Support Team as a Laboratory Customer Support Assistant. This is a part-time position working 3 days a week, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Laboratory, including receipt and registration of samples, running reports, and liaising with customers.
  • Subcontract samples and complete associated records, ensuring high standards of performance and quality control.
  • Display excellent communication and customer service skills, working effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Work in a quality-controlled area, adhering to UKAS, DWTS, and MCERTS accreditation standards.
  • Perform other office-based general administration tasks as required.

Requirements

  • 5 GCSEs Grades A – C, including English and Mathematics or Science (or equivalent qualification)
  • Scientific background is desirable
  • Experience in an office administration role
  • Experience in a customer-facing role
  • Successful participation in team-working
  • Proven experience in using Microsoft Office packages, spreadsheets, and SharePoint
