Electrical Linesperson

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Linesperson to join our team at SSE Enterprise. As a key member of our power distribution team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and reliable supply of electricity to our customers.

• Carrying out construction and repair work on our networks from LV to 11/33kV.
• Ensuring the safety of yourself and colleagues, while promoting a strong safety culture.
• Responding to emergency situations and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Undertaking out-of-hours standby duties and short-notice attendance for storm situations.

• DNO industry-recognised overhead line qualifications in LV, HV, 11kV & 33kV.
• Experience or qualification in 11kV Live Line working is highly advantageous.
• A proven track record in construction, repair, and operation of electrical plant and equipment.
• A high regard for safety and strong communication skills.
