About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HVDC Operations & Maintenance Planner to join our team at National Grid Ventures. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities for our North Sea Link converter station.

Your primary focus will be on scheduling and dispatching maintenance tasks, ensuring that our work management system is up-to-date, and coordinating with contractors and internal departments. You will work closely with site engineers to determine resource and equipment requirements for unplanned maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance activities for the North Sea Link converter station
  • Schedule and dispatch maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion
  • Ensure our work management system is accurate and up-to-date
  • Coordinate with contractors and internal departments for site activities
  • Liaise with site engineers to determine resource and equipment requirements for unplanned maintenance
About You

We are looking for an experienced maintenance professional with a strong background in project planning and coordination. You should have a good understanding of operations and maintenance manuals and technical drawings. Experience with asset management systems, such as Maximo, is desirable.

You will be a strong communicator with excellent organizational skills, able to work effectively in a team environment. You should be able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
