Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to join our team as the Director of Nursing at Cpl Health Talent. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading our clinical services, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and contributing to the overall success and growth of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership for nursing and clinical services, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals and objectives.
  • Budgetary and Financial Management: Oversee the budgetary and financial management of clinical services, ensuring effective resource allocation and management.
  • Nursing and Allied Health Professional Development: Develop and mentor nursing and allied health professionals, promoting continuous professional development and excellence in patient care.
  • Change Management: Successfully implement and drive positive change within the clinical environment, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to patient care.
  • Patient Care Improvement: Demonstrate achievements in improving patient care through innovative practices, evidence-based decision making, and collaboration with patients and staff.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including CQC and other healthcare standards.
  • Incident Management: Manage complaints and serious incidents with a focus on resolution, improvement, and learning.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: NMC Registered Nurse or HCPC registration, degree in a related subject, and continued professional development.
  • Experience: Considerable experience in an equivalent role in the acute/independent sector, budgetary and financial management experience, and successful development of nursing/allied health professionals.
  • Skills and Knowledge: In-depth awareness of the quality and governance agenda, proficient in conflict resolution strategies, ability to plan, allocate, and evaluate work effectively, understanding of workforce planning issues in healthcare, knowledge of recruitment and retention strategies, and competent in Microsoft Office.
