**About the Role**

As part of their continued growth, an established civil engineering contractor has a newly created opportunity for a Planning Manager to join their Energy division. The role could be based in Hertfordshire or Oxford, with the organisation being one of the fastest-growing utility businesses in the UK. This role presents the opportunity to join at the start of an eight-year framework.

**Key Responsibilities**

* The Planning Manager will be responsible for leading the planning team in the Energy division.
* They will work closely with the project management team to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* The Planning Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing planning strategies to meet the needs of the business.

**Requirements**

* The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning and project management.
* They will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
* The Planning Manager will also have a strong understanding of the civil engineering industry and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders.
