Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Positive Behaviour Support Coach to join our team. The successful candidate will provide direct support and on-the-job coaching to teams, ensuring effective implementation of Positive Behaviour Support Plans. This role will involve working under the guidance of the Positive Behaviour Support Manager to develop plans that promote skill development and reduce/eliminate restrictive practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support and on-the-job coaching to teams to develop skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure delivery of strength-based, person-centred support.
  • Work under the guidance of the Positive Behaviour Support Manager to develop Positive Behaviour Support Plans.
  • Facilitate PROACT SCIPr UK Training to all teams across the organization.
  • Support and report into the Positive Behaviour Support Manager.
Requirements
  • High-level experience directly supporting people with learning disabilities and/or Autism who have complex needs.
  • Confidence and knowledge in taking the lead role in supporting people and guiding through difficult situations.
  • High level of empathy, patience, and understanding.
  • Working knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (essential).
  • Willingness to develop assessment and problem-solving skills.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to promoting the rights and well-being of individuals being supported.
  • Ability to handle physically and emotionally demanding situations with support.
