Recovery Nurse Opportunity at Spire Elland Hospital

Spire Elland Hospital is seeking an experienced Recovery Nurse to join our Theatre team on a part-time, permanent basis. As a Recovery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in the recovery phase of surgery.

About the Role
  • Assist patients undergoing elective procedures, including ENT, orthopaedic, laparoscopic, ophthalmic, gynaecology, and urology.
  • Work collaboratively with the Theatre Sisters/Charge nurses to deliver effective patient care.
  • Provide complex, sensitive, or contentious information to patients and their families.
  • Maintain high standards of care and effective communication with patients.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with PACU or Operating Department Practitioner experience.
  • Experience working in teams with minimal supervision.
  • HCPC or NMC registration.
  • Experience in various types of surgery, excluding cardiac and neurological.
