About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of business programs with renowned university partners. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality teaching and learning across a range of programs within a Higher Education setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions to students across various programs.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of courses, ensuring alignment with university standards and regulations.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, supporting their academic progress and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement assessment strategies, ensuring fairness and consistency.
  • Contribute to the production of module/unit-specific Scheme of Work, ensuring alignment with program specifications.
  • Develop and deliver subject-specific sessions, incorporating innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  • Deploy assessments appropriately, ensuring alignment with program specifications and university regulations.
  • Support students with formative feedback, providing guidance on academic progress and achievement.
  • Mark and provide summative feedback within prescribed deadlines, ensuring accuracy and fairness.
  • Ensure compliance with program specifications, university regulations, and quality assurance standards.
  • Produce module/unit reports, highlighting student progress and achievement.
  • Communicate effectively with students from diverse backgrounds, providing support and guidance as needed.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree and/or a PhD in Economics or a related field.
  • Teaching qualifications: PGCHE, MA in HE Practice, or FHEA, etc.
  • Previous lecturing experience in Higher Education, preferably in Economics or a related field.
  • Experience working with Blackboard/VLEs, MS Teams/Zoom, and other educational technologies.
