About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Credit Risk Analyst to join our Collections Strategy team at The Very Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in making informed decisions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide data-driven insights to inform credit risk strategies and decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management solutions
- Analyze customer behavior and identify opportunities to enhance our strategies
- Communicate complex data insights to senior stakeholders and influence business decisions
- Manage stakeholder expectations and prioritize workload to deliver value to customers and the business
About You
We are looking for a talented individual with a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for risk management. If you have a degree in a relevant field and/or practical experience in a similar role, we want to hear from you.
Requirements
- Confident and analytical with a keen eye for detail
- Strong SQL, SAS, and Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience in credit risk, particularly in collections/arrears management, is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and establish strong relationships with stakeholders
- Customer outcome-focused and commercially aware with excellent communication skills
