Volunteer Services Project Manager

Our client, a well-established non-profit organisation based in the Romford, Essex area, is seeking a skilled Volunteer Services Project Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project manage the design and improvement of a comprehensive hospice volunteering service.
  • Manage a team to proactively develop the recruitment and retention of hospice volunteers to support the delivery of the volunteer strategy.
  • Develop a strategic attraction and onboarding approach, including an annual advertising calendar and promotion of Hospice volunteering at promotional events.
  • Implement plans that place Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at the heart of volunteering.
  • Create and update policies, procedures, and guidelines as required, with reference to the volunteer workforce.
  • Support the Volunteer team.

Requirements:

  • Post graduate qualification or equivalent level of experience in Volunteer Management, HR Management or OD.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development in project management.
  • Ability to work in a friendly, open, and warm team environment.
