About The Role
The Facilities Manager will lead the day-to-day delivery of facility services and operations, ensuring efficient and effective management of planned preventative maintenance programs, statutory compliance, and cost-saving initiatives. This role will involve regular travel across our branch network, covering various locations nationwide.
About You
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at GSF Car Parts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of contractor management in a multi-site commercial property environment, with excellent communication skills and leadership abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate facility services and operations across our branch network
- Develop and implement planned preventative maintenance programs to ensure efficient and effective management of facilities
- Ensure statutory compliance and cost-saving initiatives are implemented and maintained
- Lead and support teams in achieving operational excellence
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors and key stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven track record of contractor management in a multi-site commercial property environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Relevant Health and Safety Qualification (IOSH / NEBOSH)
- Financial management skills
- Knowledge of UK Health & Safety laws and statutory regulations relating to building management
